The winery is full of new toys for our winemakers to play and excitement levels are high! The winery is in full swing with winemakers Behn Payten and Damian North testing out all the new bells and whistles ahead of a very busy year. It’s shaping up to be a promising vintage and we expect to make some very special wine!
The selected variety for our first Coterie Vintage Membership is a Shiraz from a magnificent vineyard in the Upper Yarra Valley called Tibooburra. This property provides a variety of farming pursuits – as well as a number of grape varieties, Tibooburra also runs a substantial herd of Angus cattle and more recently truffles were discovered on the property! Greg and Susan Kerr are certainly living the dream and managing a property with a complete commitment to sustainability and environment. We are so pleased to be working with them on our first Coterie wine project.
Coming from a cooler area of the Yarra Valley, these grapes will be ready in late March. Damian North from Journey Wines is running this year’s Coterie Vintage Membership program. It’s a whole lot of fun when you are squishing around in your bare feet in one of the grape bins during vintage and then enjoying your wine at our Uncorked wine dinner in December!

Socks Off for Vintage
This afternoon begins with an informative tour of the vineyard with our Head Winemaker Damian North to learn about terroir, viticulture and harvesting techniques before heading back to No.7 where we'll be getting our socks off!
There'll be lots of grape stomping, juice between the toes and tall stories before it's all pressed in our state of the art Scharfenberger p20 press. Watch your grapes continue their journey through the press and settle into selected oak barrels where they will blissfully wait until bottling!
Mid-year Barrel Tasting
Join us for the mid-year barrel tasting afternoon at No.7 to assess the development of the wine with our Head Winemaker Damian North.
The No.7 tapas bar will be open for those wanting a bite to eat after the tasting - a perfect excuse to catch up with those new wine friends you made at vintage!
Free access to all of No.7 Healesville’s wine information sessions held throughout the year. You’ll have the opportunity to learn from wine industry leaders on a wide range of wine topics, from the vineyard to the cellar door.
Bottle It In
Participation in the bottling and labeling process of your wine. A morning of barrel to bottle satisfaction!
Our chefs will produce an amazing dinner accompanied by the wine you’ve helped produce to celebrate the year that was!
